The Pueblo Softball Hall of Fame Committee is proud to recognize our second annual Most Valuable High School Girls Softball Player recipient for 2014 from the Pueblo area -- Cheyenne Talmadge. Cheyenne the highly recognized second baseman for the Pueblo East High School Eagles.

This outstanding International Baccalaureate (I.B.) diploma candidate is the daughter of Cheryl and Brandon Talmadge.

Cheyenne maintains a 4.3 Grade Point Average, is ranked twelfth in her class, is a three year letter winner in softball, and a two year letter winner in track. She also involves herself with the East High School D.E.C.A. Club and helps coach a 12 & under girls softball team.

 

Talmadge's athletic achivements include:

2011-2012 (Sophomore)
1st Team All South-Central League
Led 4A in stolen bases
Led 4A in batting average
Played on the East High School 4A State Championship Team
2012-2013 (Junior)
1st Team All South-Central League
2nd Team All Colorado
Led 4A in stolen bases
Led 4A in batting average
Played on the East High School 4A State Championship Team

She has verbally committed to play NCAA Division I softball at the University of Northern Colorado.

To quote Cheyenne; "I base my life goals upon the success I have within myself. I want to be the best person I can, whether in school, on the field, or in the workplace. I will strive to be the best I can be and be on asset to whatever I am involved in."
